This is a community based dance gathering which provides an opportunity for Kathryn Ferguson's current and former students to pay tribute to her through dance. Performers include students, amateurs and professional dancers. A delicious catered meal is included in your ticket price.

Ava Fleming: Finding & Expressing Your Unique Dance Voice (10:00-11:30)
Embrace your grace and authenticity with your unique and one of a kind dance voice. Shimmies, combos, slow or just general fun, learn how to express your unique personality in your movement.
Ashtalea: Combos with Class & Sass (11:45-1:15pm)
In this class, Ashtalea teaches some mini-combinations that can be used in an array of Middle Eastern dance styles. She will show you that with subtle posture and mood changes how a single dance sequence can work for many different musical styles. Bring some water and a towel. You will work up a sweat!
Shimmy Sister Kate: Drama Queen 101- Walking (1:30-3:00pm)
A performer with stage presence executes the simplest movements with complete commitment and intention. Nothing is wasted, and every moment on stage is used to the utmost to convey emotion and character. To that end, we'll spend our time together working on the basics: walking.
Not your ordinary stroll, this workshop will cover all the aspects of a character walk, from weight to pace to focus. Dancers of all levels of ability and styles of "bellydance" are welcome!
Mediterranean Nights is a memorial gala dance and music tribute, honoring one of the masters of Mid Eastern dance, Kathryn Ferguson. The event will showcase her unique dance style, the influence she had on the community around her, and will feature performances by artists from across the country.
